Supportable actions

The sub-programme of strategic actions for the promotion of entrepreneurship: seeks to recognize those public or public-private instruments, mechanisms and programmes which positively influence the development of entrepreneurship, which introduce an innovating element and can be transferred to other regional and local systems of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Strategic actions for the promotion of entrepreneurship are considered to be those which take place in the following spheres, among others:

  1. Access of entrepreneurs to regional and national systems of innovation
  2. Enterprise training and development of entrepreneurial abilities
  3. Clusters to harness the trans-regionalization of the SMEs.
  4. Development of “hubs” of entrepreneurship.
  5. Education in entrepreneurship in the different educational levels.
  6. Forums on integrated business financing.
  7. Initiatives that carry entrepreneurship to groups at risk of exclusion or business cooperative programmes.
  8. Programmes that encourage SMEs to access EC programmes.
  9. Generational relief programmes for established SMEs.
  10. Programmes for local or regional transfer of good practices for entrepreneurship
  11. Projects of internationalization from the SMEs to strategic countries and markets
  12. Projects of reconversion of urban zones for entrepreneurship.
  13. Innovating projects of social entrepreneurship.
  14. Comprehensive projects for the cultivation of entrepreneurs in universities.
  15. Technological bridges and bridges of entrepreneurship for SMEs.
  16. Innovative strategic incubation systems.

Excluded from this funding topic are:

  1. Entrepreneur recognition workshops.
  2. The actions financed by other entrepreneurship support programmes of the Directorate General of SME Policy.
  3. Acts of recognition or awards
