“Emprendemos Juntos” is a programme promoted by the Directorate General of SME Policy in which public administrations and different public and private organizations from the economic-financial and academic worlds participate with the common goal of highlighting the important contribution of the business community and entrepreneurship to economic development and the creation of wealth and employment in Spain.
“Emprendemos Juntos” began in 2006 and is today a benchmark of the institutional cooperation in favour of entrepreneurship, having been recognised as good practice by the European Commission in 2007 and 2010.
In 2011, “Emprendemos Juntos” promotes a dual approach:
- It fosters public or public-private initiatives and instruments for the development of entrepreneurship that presents an innovative and transferable approach.
- It promotes workshops and forums in which entrepreneurs and business people can share knowledge and experiences, both of success and failure, and get to know the instruments available to the entrepreneur to impel the creation of companies, their consolidation and internationalization, to improve their level of competitiveness, to stimulate the development of academic and enterprise networks and to favour business collaboration.
