Conclusion of the Emprendemos Juntos campaign 2010
"Emprendemos Juntos" 2010 came to an end after two months dedicated to boosting entrepreneurship through Entrepreneurs’ Day seminaries. The Ministry of Industry, Tourism, and Trade and participating local and regional entities organized more than 70 appointments in 50 different localities and the initial data available on participation reveals that more than 55,000 entrepreneurs participated in these events, showing an increase on attendance during previous years.
Entrepreneurs’ Day is a meeting point of reference to provide entrepreneurs with training and information about a range of institutions there to support them and the programmes these run. They are also held to acknowledge business people and promote entrepreneurship.
The initiative as a whole has been backed throughout Europe, as part of the Second European SME Week, as one of the most relevant initiatives for the dissemination of entrepreneurship on a European level. Here at the Directorate-General of SME Policy we would like to take this opportunity to thank the efforts made and enthusiasm shown by the entities that organized and collaborated in the events as well as the entrepreneurs who took part in these.
